General projects
Quick Web have worked on a large variety of projects since 1998, detailed on
the previous pages. A small number of projects we have worked on are mentioned here.
Internal Contact System
This system takes staff
information from a restricted personnel database, and constructs a hierachcical,
browseable view of the company staff. All contact details are gathered from a
Siebel database. Additional features include a secure off line version
that maintains an encrypted version of the contacts list with a windows
application for laptop users without intrante connectivity. Various reports and
listings are available.
This system was deployed within Microsoft in order to save money on printed
telephone directories, and is still in use after having been adopted by their
own internal support teams.
Information Portal
This internal system allows the client
to store files for visitors to download, and can enter categorised new stsories.
RSS feeds are integrated so that visitors can monitor the sections of the site
that are relevant to their requirements.
This site is currently in use within Microsoft UK.
Hierarchical Directory
We have a full hierarchical directory
system in place, similar to the concept behind Yahoo!, which can be customised
for any field. All categories and content are editable using adminstration
pages. This is currently is use by a magazines portal, but could easily be turned into a subject specific directory ready to be populated.

Jaguar Couriers
The brief was for a simple,
clear informational site, mainly static, with a small updateable section
for current vacancies. The site also included a basic job booking facility allowing regular customers to book a job.

Meode Productions
An information website for the
creators of the Tomb Raider music to highligt their other projects and provide
details on their studio environment, press
clippings and other company information.
