Fixed cost support
We believe that giving a fixed cost for a project to our
clients is an important part of the relationship. With a fixed project cost,
there is no issue of spiralling costs. If the workload you pass to
us does increase, or the specification has big chnages, then we will discuss
possible options with you, but we will always be very clear about how much
the work is costing and whether it is actually cost-effective for you.
For support, most of our clients work on the principle
of buying a certain number of man-days per month. For smaller businesses who
need help occasionally, then one day per month is adequate. Some larger clients need four or five days worth of
support every month. It all depends on how much support you need -
from backing up your existing technical team, through to providing email/telephone/IM support for your
users.
